That’s why we set out to create a fresh new website where you can find everything related to home decorating all in one place. You can learn the basics of interior design, discover current interior design trends, get a ton of great decorating tips and ideas, and shop for anything you could possibly want to decorate your home.

We want to empower you to make your home a warm and inviting place - where family and friendship flourish - by giving you the decorating resources and tools you need.

What’s the story of Decorating Sense?

Chris Seymour is the guy behind HomeDecoratingSense.com. He started Decorating Sense in 2006 with a desire to create a home decorating website where the average person could get the ideas and resources they needed to transform their own house into a home - a beautiful home.

Chris and his wife have had a passion for interior decorating for years, so creating a website dedicated to that was a natural step. “I wanted to make something that both of us could take an interest in, something we could both enjoy,” says Chris.

Chris is a graphic and web designer by trade and he created HomeDecoratingSense.com in his spare time.  He hopes that one day he’ll be able to quit his day job and focus on Decorating Sense full time, allowing him to spend more time with his family, friends, and ministry.
